Response: Hi. Thanks SO much for the reply. I think we can make this work, but I won't be able to offer a firm commitment until I speak with my parents tomorrow. We built the boat for them, but they are actually paying to have it hauled. We could provide help loading and unloading. Would you want to load on Sunday or on Monday? This boat is kinda special--It's a 40th anniversary gift, so your idea of suspending with tie-downs is attractive to me. I suspect it will be to them, too. When I first listed this boat, we got 4 bids (2 bids=$500, 1=$400, and 1=$600), so my parents are kind of prepared for that range. I saw on your profile that you generally charge $1/mile, which would be more in the $800 range. I would just have to ask about that price. If you can, please let me know what you think about price and pickup date. I will talk to my parents, and we can try to get something in the works.
