Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi, we can get the craft delivered for you at 2450$. We are very experienced long haul transporters, and we would take pride in getting your shipping needs satisfied. God Bless, Curtes (9/23/2007)
Question: Hi, we are looking to do business with you, and would like to know if you are available for this to be picked up. Please reply, so that we can arrange an agreeable amount and get the shipment on the road. God Bless (9/24/2007)
Question: I would highly suggest to read feedback from shippers at haulers directory profiles! (9/25/2007)
Response: thanks (9/25/2007)
Question: I would highly suggest to read feedback from shippers at haulers directory profiles! (9/25/2007)
Question: Do you realize that that your target price is what it cost for fuel alone? (9/25/2007)
Response: yes, but if one hauled three boats this size at once there would be more than two thousand left over. (9/25/2007)
Response: This job is going to require 1000 in fuel. Good luck on your target price. (10/5/2007)
Question: Are you actually serious? You recieve the type of service for the type of money you spend. You will never get this transported to California for 1000.00, if you do then you will be the first on uship to do so. Let's stop spending out of yor kids piggy bank and spend alittle to get your boat to you, or you will be playing this game for a while. (9/25/2007)
Response: Are you serious? Do you think I would hire someone who asks questions in the tone you use? I've driven transporters and trucks. Sometimes you take a backhaul that doesn't even pay for fuel. But in my experience, you do not get ahead by insulting potential customers. I am merely seeking the lowest bid by the best qualified hauler. (9/26/2007)
Response: You could not have been in the transporting business with such listings as this one. If you were a transporter then you would know what it takes to transport this, not disrespect us transporters with such nonsense. Thank you for your negative response, we love shippers like you. (9/26/2007)
Question: Fuel is $3.00 plus a gallon, insurance is 6,000 a year and you now want someone to do this run for.33 a mile.Due you work for $7.00 an hour ??what but we all should we are all in this business to make a few dollars also THANKS FOR YOUR HELP (9/26/2007)
Response: I have driven trucks and transporters. Sometimes you take a backhaul for less than the cost of fuel. I am only trying to get the job done by the least-expensive, best-qualified hauler. (9/26/2007)
Response: JUST BE FAIR ITS 3000 miles LET US MAKE A BUCK . (9/26/2007)
Question: Dear Shipper, Do you have another two boats to ship to CA with this one @ $1,000 each? (10/1/2007)
Response: Not yet, but there seems to be quite a bit of transport going on between FL and CA. I'm flexible on timing, so it should be possible to build a good load. (10/4/2007)
Question: Have you made a timeframe when the boat will be ready to go yet?? (10/4/2007)
Response: Sometime next week. I am in process of obtaining insurance and titles, bills of sale, etc. (10/4/2007)
Question: This jib is going to require 1000 in fuel! Your not going to get this shipped for less than 2000. Good luck! (10/5/2007)
Question: Backhauls are not going to get this job shipped at 1000, unless you know someone. It wont even be shippped for 2000. Im the cheapest rates and I cant do it for 2. (10/5/2007)
Question: Hello do you still need a shipper? Let me know. THX (10/7/2007)
Response: Yes, I am still seeking transport for the boat. Looking for a good rate. Thanks, John (10/7/2007)
Response: Hello I understand about a good price, I could ship for you for $1500. Thats alot of miles. Let me know. I am delivering a boat to Spokane this week and could be in the area after my next delivery. THX (10/7/2007)
Response: Hi Candy0, price is in ballpark. I'm not sure what u-ship's cut is. What kind of rig have you got? Would we be able to roll the trailer on and off of your trailer? thanks, John (10/7/2007)
Response: Hi John I would be pulling your boat behind my Dodge Durango 4x4 V8. If thats not what your looking for I wont be able to help. Thats how I haul. I'm taking a boat to Spokane Wash. right now will be picking up in Calif and coming that way so let me know and I'll place a bid. THX (10/7/2007)
Response: Hi Candy, There shouldn't be any problem with the boat running on it's own trailer. I would want to get a spare, if there is not already one on the trailer. This is a new boat on a new trailer. The dealer said he could provide a temporary reg. to get from Florida to Ca. What would be your time frame for delivery? Also what about insurance? I am in process fo obtaining coverage on the boat, but I would want some verification of your insurance. thanks (10/7/2007)
Response: Hi John Yes I have Ins. and can give you a copy. Time frame for delivery will be in 4 to 5 days, but I wont be in Fl. for about two weeks. Maybe sooner is this going to be ok. Thanks Candy (10/7/2007)
Question: Shipper I might be able to move your bout leaving end of this week for $2000.00. Please respond and let me know if you are interested. Thanks. slbak. (10/8/2007)
Response: Steve, let's do it. I take it you will be securing my new boat, motor, and trailer inside your covered trailer. I would not want extra freight hauled inside the boat unless it is very light, well padded, and well secured. I would like insurance info faxed after we get contact info. What is your ultimate destination in CA. I actually live in Potter Valley, but my folks are in Elk Grove (Sacramento area) between I-5 and 99. (10/9/2007)
Response: Shipper I am planning on putting in my 28 ft enclosed trailer with rol on off capability. Unless I find something that really pays good the price is firm. Thanks and hope to har from you. slbak. (10/9/2007)
Question: Thanks for the request but we are not hauling coast to coast anymore. (10/8/2007)
Response: Thanks for the reply. It sounded like you had the right kind of equipment. I worked for a company that had a take-3 with a winch and track for trailers. My boat would fit along with a couple of cars or pickups on a rig like that. (10/9/2007)
Question: After reading all of this negative email reminds me of exactly why I am no longer transporting vehicles of any type. (10/8/2007)
Question: Shipper: I have a three car slant, 51ft., gooseneck trailer. I tow it with a one ton Dodge Dually. It would work perfectly for your boat. I do not have it on the road right now, but if I put it back into service I will put a bid on this job, I'm sorry that I can't help right now. Paul Triple R (10/9/2007)
Response: thanks Paul, I hope to get the boat moved soon. (10/9/2007)
Question: It's slbak again. I do have insurance and can provide a copy. Thanks. (10/9/2007)
Response: Steve, see above response. thanks, John (10/10/2007)
Response: John, thanks for the business. There will be nothing in or around your boat that would cause a problem and I can fax the info to you. I have a pickup in Grass Valley which is in the Sac. area. Would you please double check the deminsions specifially the outside to outside width. I will submit my bid and as soon as we confirm the demensions we are ready to go. Then I will need you to forward 50% of bid for deposit to the dealer to be picked in person when I load. Thanks. Steve. (10/10/2007)
Response: Hi Steve, The boat is a Triumph 170CC. I'm pretty sure the factory lists the beam (width) as 6.5'. Hull length is under 17' and trailer has folding tongue. Not sure of trailer width, but I will check with the dealer tomorrow. Usually the trailer is about the same as the boat. Motor is installed so I would estimate overall length at about 20'. What would be your estimated p/u-delivery dates? My wife needs to pick up a pallet of sauce in Grass Valley. You could rendesvous there or deliver boat to Elk Grove, but I think a meeting in Grass Valley would be ideal. Can fed-ex cashier's to dealership pending receipt of insurance and some kind of contract or agreement. Will accept bid, am excited about getting the boat. thanks, John (10/10/2007)
