Called 30 min before pick up saying he would be there in 30 min.....35 min later called said they could't move me today...would have to reschedule...WHAT !!!! i had to call serveral movers to get an emergecy move thank god a major brand name mover could and did move me.....Longfaship didnt even have the decesency to refund my depoist

Response from longfaship: We need to explain the truth here: On July 25, we called the shipper we'ld be there in 30min on time when we're driving on 5 south. But when we're exiting the 76 exit to AVE PICO, the truck brake was out of control and an accident happened. We called 911 and the shipper we said we'ld move later. But the sheriff said the truck should be towed. We sent another truck there for the move. But the shipper said he'd arranged other company moved. Tks for understanding.

Drove about 10 mph (50 mph speed limit on the street, only about a 3 mile drive, but really was extended) the ENTIRE the way to our new place to add on time, took a ton of cigarette breaks, tried to get paid for taking a lunch break, and I caught one of them helping somebody move there stuff in at the complex I was moving out of. Broke a lamp of mine, and now refuses to pay for it, and keeps having me talk to a friend who doesn't even work for the company because he speaks better English.

Response from longfaship: That's ttl not the fact. 1>We finished the move in time(5hrs 50mins, less than the est. time 6Hrs). We drove after the shipper to the new add. The speed is under his control. 2>Lunch time not CHARGED! the workers just took cig. after the lunch. NEVER smoking during the moving! 3>Shipper had checked stuffs n signed the bill before our workers left, everything was OK. 4>Shipper payed via check $460, but Amount due is $487. So he's asked to re-write the check. Maybe that's WHY.

The Service Provider did not show up at agreed upon agreed date & time.
The Service Provider (SP) failed to show up to complete the move. After the match was completed, I confirmed the move date of 8/2nd by e-mail with the SP. I called the day before the move date to confirm and was told the SP would arrive at 8:00 a.m. The SP called me on the move day at 8:30 a.m. to say they could not complete the move but could do so at 1:00 p.m. and would call back. The SP did not call until 4:30 p.m. I was forced to utilize another moving company at greater expense.

The two movers were friendly and worked fast but also carefully. There was a slight delay due to some damage to their vehicle that occurred on the way there, but everything was delivered fine.

These guys did a tremendous job of packing and delivering my stuff. They were very polite, professional and packed at lightning speed. I would highly recommend for anyone making a similar move.
