The Service Provider misrepresented themselves, their business or their services.
This shipper cannot provide full service moving, only transport. Be careful with this shipper. She is quite volatile, hot headed, dramatic, difficult to understand, has difficulties understanding simple ideas, is confused and scared the hell out of the party she was picking up from. The word 'insane' sprang to mind for us all.

Response from jdempere: Shipper omitted weight & size. His broker won’t send electronic manifest as required by Canadian customs plus delaying me at the border. Seller said it took 3 strong men to move sofa & velvet damages easily & could not recomend local help. Help is hard to find in BC. It is listed as 400lbs. Shipper said that he had paid for full service so it was my problem. I had given him a great price but I had no option but return his payment. The personal abuse in his complaint reflects his character.

The Service Provider is not able to accommodate my shipment.
The item (a veneer press) was too heavy (6000 pds) to load into a closed truck- would have required a flat deck. Jackie the driver tried hard to make it work and spend her time to get there and trying to load. In the end, driver was not able to accommodate this shipment.

Response from jdempere: I had a 26ft Penske truck required by a previous client & found that it had two weak links for attachments plus the decking was thin ply on metal joists so I had no way of securing this machine on wheels. I tried to replace it with their 24ft heavy duty but Penske required that I bring it back to Indiana. I am now using a heavy duty 26ft Ryder with lift gate it has air ride seat & and is not as drafty or noisy. Shipper was very gracious and I hope he is happy with the carrier I recomended.

The Service Provider is not able to accommodate my shipment.
Service provider did not fully review my add which stated the pick up destination was unable to assist in loading. The service provider informed me after I accepted his bid that he was unable to assist in the loading and unloading of my shipment! Misunderstanding I guess!

Response from jdempere: My bid was low as SELF SERVICE. Further, Shipper told me on the page "if delivered on Monday I probably won't have the help to unload until after 5 pm! (11/1/2008)" I ask: “If I could load a 6’x8’150lbs panel, why would I need help unloading them?” She should not have accepted my bid. I drove 80miles out of my way until she brought up that I would have not help loading. She also thinks I am a man.
