The motorcycle arrived in perfect condition and was well cared for. I am somewhat disappointed in the communication between myself and carrier. I am also unhappy with the amount of time required for the shipment to arrive. It was left in Denver, 100 miles away, for more than one week while a driver was located.

The front forks were blown due to overcompression during shipping. The item was not picked up in the allotted time. Delivery was acceptable.

Response from jcmotors: Average fork compression during transport is approximately 55-65% of travel. If a fork seal is worn or has even has a small amount of dirt in it, leakage can occur, whether its being transported or riden. The pressure used to hold the motorcycle upright during transport will not cause a good seal to leak, no matter what carrier transports the motorcycle.
We booked your order on June 5th. The carrier was unable to make contact with the point of pick up until June 14th, which caused the delay.

J. C. Motors did all they could do. South Coast Logistics, the company used by J. C. Motors to cordinate with specialized transport, dropped the ball. They changed the contact information without my consent resulting in a major delay. All companies involved were not willing to expidite due to this error, resulting in my having to drive 250 miles to get my bike in a timely manner. I was promissed 1 to 5 business days for pick up, took 10. 5 to 10 to deliver, after 15 I picked it up. Do not use. F

Response from jcmotors: The dispatcher left multiple phone messages attempting to get the cycle picked up. The delay in contact resulted in delay of actual pickup. Shipment was routed correctly and expedious as possible. We do not promise pick up and delivery dates, we only provide estimates due to factors like this that can arise. Ride Safe.
