Hello, my name is Rod Hunter. I started this Driveaway service business in October of 2007 after being "semi-retired" for almost a year. I am a former firefighter and emergency medical technician from Maryland, Connecticut and Texas. I also have been a public safety dispatcher (for Police, Fire and EMS)and 911 operator for the last 15 years. I still work part-time for my local Police Dept here in deep south Texas when I am not driving vehicles for my customers. I have taken several State and Federal emergency driving courses to enable me to drive an ambulance in Maryland, Texas (Dallas) and Connecticut. I have driven everything from Ambulances, Fire Trucks, large luxury Recereational Vehicles to small sports cars and large pick up trucks - safely and professionally.
