Coast to Coast, Overnight Layovers & Excellent Care. We have a horse farm in Oregon where we raise Friesian Sport Horses. During the trip Bill stops every 3-4 hours to let the horses rest, offer water and refill the hay. At night the horses are taken off the trailer and put into individual box stalls for at least 12 hours at facilities along the route. This layover allows the horses time off the trailer to move around and rest prior to the next days trip. Bill stays with the horses in his quarters so they are not left unattended. The trailer is cleaned out daily and new bedding is added. Bill is an experienced, patient and caring horse person as well and an excellent, cautious driver. We have been transporting horses for many years and have excellent references away from the Uship site. Special needs horses are not a problem. Bill is experienced with all breeds, ages and genders.
